Here is your weekly ISEE News in Review. !!!!!!NEW DEADLINE 30TH OCTOBER 2019!!!!!!Academics and activists who wish to actively participate in submitting sub-themes or suggesting new sub-themes for inclusion in The 7th International Degrowth and 16th ISEE Joint Conference; Building Alternative Livelihoods in Times of Ecological and Political Crisis Conference should submit a proposal by 30th October 2019. Dragon Chair in Biodiversity Economics, University of ExeterThe appointment will be within the Exeter LEEP Institute (Land, Environment, Economics, and Policy) and will try to place an economic value on biodiversity so it can be taken into account and become part of the individual, corporate and governmental decision making. Dragon Capital and the University have together committed £1.6m over the next five years, in order to make this appointment and initiate research in the field. This Professorship will be part of the Land, Environment, Economics and Policy Institute (LEEP) at the University of Exeter Business School. The LEEP Institute provides international leadership in the field of Environmental Economics and Policy.
