Colca 2022 REDCOLCA Esta cuarta versión del Congreso Latinoamericano sobre Conflictos Ambientales se realizará en conjunto con el III Congreso de la Sociedad Andina de Economía Ecológica (SAEE). El evento tendrá una duración de cinco días. En los dos primeros (24 y 25 de octubre), se llevará a cabo el Curso de Ecología Política y Economía Ecológica, en el tercer día (26 de octubre), se realizarán salidas de campo para vivenciar conflictos ambientales específicos de la región y en los dos últimos días (27 y 28 de octubre) se realizarán los Congresos |

PhD scholarship in the area of Applied Economics and Sustainability The Federation University is partnering with Aleph Farms, Israel to offer a PhD scholarship in the area of Applied Economics and Sustainability. Transformational innovations in the meat industry: The project aims to develop tailored business models for the sustainability of livestock farming systems by examining the role of transformational technological innovations such as cultivated meat. Cultivated meat is being promoted as a more sustainable and safe way to produce meat products by experts in the food industry. However, the cultivated meat industry is still in its early stages and opportunities exist for it to become an extension of existing livestock farms as opposed to being in direct competition with the existing meat industry. |

ISEE Internship with the Vatican Awarded Additional GBP 3,000 by Laudato Si’ Research Institute at Campion Hall, Oxford ISEE is pleased to announce that its internship with the Dicastery for Human Development at the Vatican has now secured the collaboration of the Oxford, UK-based Laudato Si’ Research Institute (LSRI), bringing the total internship stipend to over EUR 15,000/yr. In addition, interns may apply at any stage in their graduate or post-doctoral studies, including Master’s degree candidates, though it would be more appropriate if the internship were used during the preparation of graduate theses or post-doctoral research. Questions may be directed to the Circle of Ecological Economics Elders (CoEEE), an advisory group supporting this initiative on behalf of ISEE, c/o secretariat@isecoeco.org. |
