THE INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY FOR ECOLOGICAL ECONOMICS

Dear German,

Here is your weekly ISEE News in Review.

Call for 2022 and 2024 ISEE Conference Organizers

ISEE holds its conference biennially. These conferences normally attract 500-900 social and natural scientists.

For 2022 and 2024 we are now looking for individuals/groups who might be interested in applying for organizing a conference. Organizing a conference is an opportunity to highlight the profile of a research group (or several groups in a country). ISEE offers advice based on past experience and key points have been summarised in a conference handbook. We encourage people with enthusiasm for the field of ecological economics and for bringing people together.

Social-Ecological Economics AFEP Conference

On July 1-3 the French Association for Political Economy (AFEP) will hold its annual conference in Toulouse. English contributions are very welcome as well as contributions from fellow social sciences. There will be sessions on Social-Ecological Economics.  For Ph.D. students, there will also be a doctoral day on June 30 (taking part in it does not preclude from presenting at the main conference).

The deadline for extended abstract (one page + Biblio) submission is March 1.
